Vuciq said at the press conference that Serbia cannot reach agreement with Kosovo if it does not gain anything from it.
He also urged the European Union to support the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia.
We cannot reach agreement without your personal presidential support, but even without the support of the EU”, Vuciq told Alexander Van der Bellen.
On the other hand, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci said that correction of the borders does not destabilise the region.
The agreement between Kosovo and Serbia should not intimidate anyone or correct the” border, the president said.
Also, Austria's president has last night confirmed that the final phase of Kosovo-Serbia dialogue must be completed within the year.
The pro-changing declaration of borders has also come from Donald Trump's cabinet, his adviser, John Balton, has stressed that the US will not be an obstacle to the Kosovo-Serbia agreement if the parties also agree on the exchange of territory.
