According to him, it is a big case for both societies to make a difference in their relations and eventually to concreteise the policy, which Kosovo and Serbia will open up prospects for a normal life.
Jovanovic in a written statement has said Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has an obligation to come up with a clear plan in September, which should have a sufficient scope for the interests of Kosovo Serbs and Albanians living in Kosovo.
“We don't have the right to sabotage the possible agreement because of the pre-election position. I am not willing to sacrifice future generations of our children to win certain percentages in the upcoming elections, and that is what LDP differs from the Union for Serbia and the rest of the opposition,” he said.
He said that until there is an attempt to halt the time with the idea of a frozen conflict, life is flowing into NATO, Macedonia has made a historic agreement with Greece, Kosovo opens up in Europe and receives visa liberalisation.
Otherwise, Serbia and Kosovo leaders Aleksandar Vuciq and Hashim Thaci will meet in Brussels on 7 September with European diplomacy chief Federica Moghrini, who mediates in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina on normalising relations.
