A month has passed since the European Commission (KE) has given the positive recommendation for visa liberalisation with Kosovo, but the responsible institutions have focused on other political topics, putting aside the lobouring of EU member states and the informative liberalisation campaign for citizens.
Political developments in the country, such as the Association of Serbian municipalities on the one hand and the process of dialogue with Serbia on the other -- the union of the Valley with Kosovo, respectively -- are two issues that have left “under shadow” the visa liberalisation process, which, according to the heads of state, will end this year.
However, European Integration Minister Gifted Hoxha has denied “Zrin” that the visa liberalisation process has been put aside by the Kosovo Government, though opposition representatives and integration experts are saying otherwise.
