Trial of attempted murder against Zijadin Sela begins

The Public Prosecutor of the Republic of Macedonia announced in March of this year that charges were filed against 30 people, where 28 are terrorist crimes of constitutional order and security affected in Article 313 of the Penal Code, while two persons for co-operation in carrying out criminal work.
According to the public prosecutor on the prosecution are three persons involved, members of MPB structures, as authorised persons officials have been Administrators of the “command” and <x2 emergency>”, as well as participants in the other group, as organisers of the joint “Movement for Macedonia”.
The Basic Court Skopje on June 1st 28th has informed that the first main session on the subject, concerning the events of April 27, 2017 in the Assembly, is scheduled on August 22nd at 10:00, while a total of 37 terms for the main hearing in which orders are prepared for accused in domestic prison, as well as invitations to other parties in the class are scheduled.
Prosecutor Darko Jakimovski, representing the prosecution of attempted murder against Ziadin Sela in one of the last hearings in the first case, has warned that the possible is the expansion of investigations and against other persons for “new evidence of the events in the Assembly”.
Judge Slavica Andrevska on 5 July this year pronounced the verdicts of seven accused of attempted murder of MP Ziadin Sela in the Assembly on 27 April last year. Kire Djordjeevski has received a 13-year sentence, Andrej Micov 10 years and six months, Oliver Ossavkovski 10 years and six months, Nikolce Dimitrievski 10 years and six months, Aleksandar Janevski- Toshta 13 years, Nikola Vominovski 13 years and six months, and Costa Delev 10 years and six months.
Prior to that, the court has sentenced Stojan Pavlevski to three years and Cejo Gerogijevski to one year and two months in prison, while the public prosecution has withdrawn the charge against Sasho Senkov. /Alsat M/
