Ten hours of nightmares, ten hours fighting for her life in the Adriatic Sea at night, the atmosphere of a horror film.
Italian media report that a British woman landed on the board of a ship.
The tourist was rescued by Croatian coastal guards and then taken to the hospital and, according to authorities, is out of danger for life.
The passenger fell off the board by a Norwegian Star ship, about 60 miles from Croatia's coast, shortly after midnight Saturday. Rescue teams managed to find her alive, not far from where she was thought to have fallen.
The British Embassy in Croatia was also informed of the case, while investigations into the incident were also launched. /Periscopi
