Tourist beat with iron, refused to pay high prices at hotel

Laura Denmar, 26, was brutally assaulted after her boyfriend was dragged against the wall, leaving her unable to move. British Dramaturgy Student travelled to Croatia last month.

According to the Daily Mail, she and her boyfriend Jeremy, 39, suspended a hotel at a price of 60 pounds of night through a website.

The young lady said that the owner of the hostel, where they stayed, was presented with another prize from the one agreed to at first.

She said:

I told them that it was unreasonable and refused to give more money, so we were told that they would call the police if we did not leave immediately. We decided to leave, but the cleaning woman shut the door, leaving us inside until a man arrived. He grabbed my boyfriend against the wall while they started beating me with an iron rod. It was horrible. We are well now that we have returned to Great Britain but it was a terrible experience. We're lucky we got out of there alive and we want to warn others to be careful before they store up their stay on the Internet.
