US Ambassador to Britain Woody Johnson has said Britain must comply with President Trump's sanctions for Iran and leave European partners seeking to keep the 2015 agreement with Iran alive.
America is putting pressure on us, and we want Great Britain on our side. It's time to move from the lame deal“, Ambassador Johnson declared.
“We demand that Britain use its diplomatic power and influence to join us”, he added.
In a joint statement last week, Britain, France and Germany declared that the deal with Iran was working out and reaching its goal, and that they are very sorry for the return of US sanctions.
The US ambassador to Britain has disagreed with these statements, demanding Britain's distance from Iran.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhan has described sanctions as “psychological warfare”, but then has declared Iran ready to hold talks with the United States to find solutions to the issue, something that White House security adviser John Bolton has described as propaganda. /21Media
