The Committee for Civil Freedoms, Justice and Home Affairs LIBE has overwhelmingly recommended visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens.
President Hashim Thaci has commented on this decision, saying that each time we are approaching the final decision.
“The Committee for Citizen Freedoms, Justice and Home Affairs in the European Parliament has made a very fair decision today, voting for visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens. We are always getting closer to the final, long-awaited decision to remove any obstacle of free movement even our citizens in the Schengen” area, Thaci wrote.
