The chairman of the National Council of the Initiative, Jakup Krasniqi, says neither Washington nor Brussels would oppose even if Kosovo's leaders thought of joining Serbia. Krasniqi says Western countries are tired of our policy without responsibility and it is difficult for these leaders to find a solution.
For Donald Trump's adviser, John Bolton, that the idea of exchange of territories will also be supported by the US if the parties agree. Jakup Krasniqi has given a comment.
Krasniqi tells Gazeta Express that none of Kosovo's friendly countries would object if Kosovo's leaders, in addition to exchanging territories, sought unity with Serbia. But it says that the issue lies in what our country's interest is in this case. That's why you think someone's out of their mind.
“not only US, but no other country would have reason to oppose Kosovo's agreement with Serbia if the parties agree. Even if Kosovo leaders thought about joining Serbia, Washington and Brussels would not object to”, Krasniqi tells Express.
He says Western countries have grown tired of the ten-year responsibility of our inert policy escorts. And that global politics has other problems.
He adds that our problems are not solved by statements and conferences by senior state officials, but by decisions and actions that develop the country.
This is evidence that our country with these political leaders has difficulty finding the way to success both in political and development. Global politics has other problems that exceed Kosovo's problem. Others have no single reason to love him more than in our people and our country”, Krasniqi says.
Politics in Kosovo is not meant to solve citizens' problems, but to shift attention, he says.
Our “our policy is “polic” of waste disposal, to deal with sweat problems, but no longer the substance of problems. Are all media developments this year's mirror? Not work on solving life's problems for the public, but on the topic of shifting attention from the real problems of the people”, Kersnqi said.
He added that his party is for normalising relations with Serbia and recognising Kosovo's independent, sovereign and democratic state on the borders it has declared independence on February 17th 2008.
Otherwise, during yesterday's National Security Adviser to the White House, John Bolton has said the US would not be an obstacle if Kosovo and Serbia agree on the exchange of territories.
And I think there are new signs that both governments may have a spell to negotiate this matter in silence. Our policy, American politics, is that if both sides can work with each other to reach an agreement, we do not rule out territorial corrections. It's not up to us”, Bolton said.
