Coastal Watchtower teams are still searching for five Tunisians, whose relatives said they were also aboard a ship that sailed this week from the southern coastal community of Zarzis.
Traffickingrs of human beings are increasingly using Tunisia as the starting point for migrants seeking to come to Europe, as Libya's coastal guards, with the help of armed groups, have tightened controls.
Many immigrants are leaving Tunisia due to unemployment and inflation following the fall of the Black regime al-Abidine Ben Ali in 2011.
At least 80 immigrants lost their lives when a ship sank near Tunisia in June of this year.
