Former Scotsman Kelley says he has a deep respect for the American hero, who served the country in wartime and peace, with courage, dignity and compassion for others. “A true leader of our times”, he adds.

The Arizona senator's family announced on Friday that, so far, it has exceeded the expectations for survival, but “the progression of the disease and advanced age are unstoppable factors. With the willpower that characterizes him, John has made his choice to stop medical treatment”.
The 81-year-old, in his 6th term as Arizona senator, has not been on display since December.
