Russian opposition movement leader Left Front Sergei Udaltsov has been arrested in Moscow.
Udaltsov's wife has announced via Twitter that her husband has been arrested today because of the protest organisation, to oppose the government's plan, which teaches to increase retirement age.
Tens of thousands of Russians have protested the country on 28 July against the plan.
Udaltsov has been one of the organisers in Moscow on 28 July, where thousands protested government reform.
The legislation has already gone to Parliament. It requires that the retirement age for men be 65 and for women 63. Currently, the retirement age in Russia for men is 60 and 55-year-old women.
