Week protagonist, former special prosecutor Elez Blakaj, who resigned from his position, is staying in America. From there he has published a photograph at the White House, while in Kosovo still further the debate on attracting the man who prepared the indictment against those allegedly blowing veterans' lists of up to 60 thousand people.

Former Prosecutor Elez Blakaj's resignation marks this week's helm. He left a letter of resignation and withdrew completely without any response. The prosecutor investigating fraud on the veterans' lists was no longer found in Kosovo.

Blakaj has moved to America shortly after resigning from the Special Prosecutor's position.

No response from the protagonist, while in his Facebook profile, Blakaj has published a photo from the United States.

Blakaj's resignation has been exhausted. Initially, he was told he stepped down after the threats he has received during his investigations to fan veterans' lists.

Before resigning, the former prosecutor had left the indictment ready for the government Commission for verification and recognition of veteran status.

The Act prepared by Blakaj, delivered to Chief Prosecutor Alexander Lumez, has not yet been established.

Charged in indictment, which was released Friday in Time Ditore, are: Agim Ceku, Nuredin Lushtaku, Sadik Halitaj, Shumbin Demaliyaaj, Kele Gashi, Shukri Buja, Ahmet Daku, Rrustem Berisha, Faik Fazliu, Smajl Elezaj, Fadil Shudreaj, Xhavit Jashar.

The threats Blakaj has received, so has Chief Prosecutor Lumez. That is said to be why the former prosecutor left his post.

That Blakaj was one of the American favourites, the American Embassy's reaction also showed shortly after his resignation, writes Express.

Ambassador Greg Delawi considered it a bad day for the justice system in Kosovo to withdraw the former prosecutor investigating frauds on veterans' lists.
Blakaj had also received support from the US government for US master's studies.

“He had the support of the US government to conduct master studies in the field of justice and investigated important cases in Kosovo. Kosovo must prove its efforts in the justice system, not only by supporting prosecutors, but also protecting all those who want to serve in their duty”, the US Embassy's response said.

The resigned prosecutor's Act has been blocked by the Special Prosecutor. It has not yet been sent to the Court, despite the fact that once the prosecutor signs an indictment, the same should be forwarded to the institution that shares justice.

On the day the prosecutor was issued word, the prosecution institution issued a statement that there are only investigations, but not an indictment of the veteran's status fraud. Then, it was said that there is a draft, a definition that is not known in the Penal Code, and that the bill of the indictment is only until the prosecutor has unsigned the indictment.
However, the damage to the state, according to the indictment signed by the resigned prosecutor, is close to 40m euros a year.

After that, the same indictment is expected to be expanded and the Founding Prosecutors taken. Even fraudulent veterans, who will be forced to return all stolen state vehicles, are expected to appear in court. In fact, if they do not have money, the State may also seize wealth for the money of the State that has been extortioned.
