Slovenia's President Borut Pahor has the highest monthly salary among the region's presidents, while the youngest gets his colleague from Serbia Aleksandar Vuciq, Croatian television studio N1 reports, referring to Podgorica's Pobjeda script.
Slovenia's monthly president's salary, reportedly on its property card, totals 3,322 euros, and on the other hand, Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, receives three times less, which is 1083 euros a month.
More than 3,000 euros are the monthly revenues of Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, as well as members of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency. Grabar-Kitarovic has a net salary of 3,276 euros, while BiH Presidency members earn an average of 3,091 euros a month.
According to the BiH Central Election Commission, Bakir Izetbegovic, Dragan Covic and Mladen Ivanic, members of the leadership, receive 2,862 euros, 2,874 euros and 3,536 euros per month, respectively. Kosovo President Hashim Thaci receives a monthly salary of 2,873 euros.
Although Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic's monthly income data has not yet been published on the website of Montenegro's Agency for Prevention of Corruption, it is known that his predecessor won about 2,420 euros a month and seems to receive the same amount of pay.
Less than 2,000 euros a month are won by Albania's president, Ilir Meta, whose salary is 1,425 euros and Macedonia's George Ivanov, who earns 1,250 euros.
According to official data, the highest average salaries in the region are in Slovenia and Croatia, while the lowest in Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
