After a two-month investigation, prosecutors collected reasonable evidence to provide the extreme sentence for Irfan Mewati, 20, and Asif Mewati, 24.
Of all the evidence gathered by prosecutors, they concluded that the two people brutally violated and tortured students before killing them.
The 350-page file, based on 92 evidence including video footage and DNA samples, was sufficient for the judge, who handed the death sentence based on the revised Criminal Code.
