Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has reiterated his and the government's position, that partitioning Kosovo and changing borders is impossible, and that no such thing will happen.
Commenting on statements by the head of state, Haradinaj has called them rebuttals to Serbs' statements on partitioning Kosovo, but does not think anyone has a mandate to discuss the country's division.
Even discussion on the borders for Haradinaj is destabilisation for the Balkans and the situation that suits only Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The position of the Government and mine is this, we target a binding legal agreement between the two countries for mutual recognition of Kosovo-Serbia. Borders, territory are not the subject of discussion, they are no one's mandate in Kosovo to discuss these. Borders and territory in this case are going back to Kosovo, but there is also destabilisation for the region and only suits President Putin, no one else has interest. Yes, I have told him many times, what the president is saying is at the level of this rhetoric I spoke of, or against rhetoric, I hope it is, if otherwise, then we have serious problems in Kosovo”, Haradinaj said.
The executive leader has said the opposition has its own vote and his party's vote for the adoption of a resolution in the Assembly, which clearly specifys that in dialogue with Serbia, he dares not discuss territory and borders.
