The drastic measure comes amid fear of alcohol being a factor in overweight, tooth decay, bad behavior, and child sleep problems.
The Government initiative of Theresa May was welcomed by the Actors.
Research has revealed that 2/3 of young people consume energy drinks and 1/4 of children between the ages of 6 and 9.
But an energy drink of 250 ml can contain about 80 mg caffeine, as much as a strong cup of coffee and equivalent to almost three cans of coca-cola.
