Former Vetevendosje members, now leadership in the PSD, are hosted at a meeting by US Ambassador to Kosovo Greg Delaway. Their approach to the US Embassy comes as soon as they leave Vetevendosje.
The US Embassy in Kosovo and the Vetevendosje Movement have never had good reports, because it has pursued an active policy against all American projects in Kosovo, including the very project of Kosovo's declaration of independence.
But now, after leaving Vetevendosje, both sides have changed, even the former VVIV leader, now the leadership of PSD, even the US Embassy.
Today they have been hosted by US Ambassador to Kosovo Greg Delawi, where they discussed the most important topics in the country, including dialogue with Serbia, which was unequivocal as they were in Vetevendosje.
That's what the mayor himself has made known. PSD, Shpend Ahmeti. He has said the meeting was held at the ambassador's residence.
“Bashka with Deputy Chairman Visar Ymeri and parliamentary group chief Dardan Sejdiu met US Ambassador to Kosovo Greg Delawi and political advisers at the embassy at the ambassador's residence at lunch. We discussed recent political events with particular emphasis on Law Rule (reforms and legislation) as well as dialogue with Serbia”, Ahmeti has said.
However, it should be stressed that the current chairman of PSDA, Shend Ahmeti, even while in VV has had better reports with the American Embassy, unlike the current VVA leader, Albin Kurti. Even the latter in the midst of charges against Ahmeti has had his proximity to the embassies of Kosovo's friendly countries, including the American one.
