State chief prosecutor Aleksandar Lumezi, through the extraordinary conference, has said the new prosecutor who will handle the veterans' case has been appointed by the Kosovo Special Prosecutor, after the prosecutor of this case, Elez Blakaj, resigned. The now retired prosecutor Elez Blakaj had handed over the indictment on July 11th to his chief, Reshat Milaku, but Lumez today said the new prosecutor would deal with its fulfillment and further proceedings in court as required by law.
