The Council of Parents in Kosovo has been worrying about SBASK's warnings of entering the strike from September of this year, of implementing their demands related to changing the draft law on wages and adopting the bill that recognises the contribution of teachers of the 1990s.
The Council says it is not against realising the legitimate requirements of the SBASK, but considers using the strike as a single tool of union action, now and many years, is seriously damaging students' interest in education as a universal human right and guaranteed with the Constitutions.
The Parents' Council, through a communique, has invited the SBASK and the Government of Kosovo to find an acceptable agreement so they do not allow students to be victims of their disputes.
