The Democratic League of Kosovo has never been more unique. And such unity must also be maintained in domestic elections expected to be held early next year, which will end sometime in May.

So says LDK deputy Vjosa Osmani, in the second part of the Kosovo Press interview.

Osmani expects the race for the LDK leader to be democratic, open, fair, with respect to the statute and with many candidates, not past times with just one candidate.

The current “in the LDK is much better co-operation than it existed earlier. There are things like any other party that we might have different opinions about. But the important thing is, there's a common cause that we've had together. And it's working for the LDK to be empowered every day. Isa Mustafa is still leading the party, despite the fact that rehabilitation is still under way, but every day and more of his activity in the party is increasing, his co-ordination with MPs, the MEPs, the MPs are increasing. Our group is in contact with him every day to coordinate” actions, Osmani said.

She is convinced that victory in the elections can be achieved only by being together. But, Osmani has recalled that the LDK cannot be empowered without developing domestic democracy and opening the doors for young people.

I don't know who the candidates will be. But what I mean is that it would be unusual for a party aimed at having internal democracy no more candidates. Rather, the existence of more candidates is real wealth in the LDK. The existence of the race is what strengthens a party. Most importantly, within the party there is a fair, democratic race, respecting the statute and a race that is held racing for values, different ideas and always having mutual respect. My focus is here to preserve this internal unity that was built by the last parliamentary elections in the LDK, to try to overcome any gap we have because it is important that the LDK be powerful”, Osmani says.

In May 2015, MP Osman was not allowed to compete for LDK chairmanship, however against the party statute, since it was decided to get 50 plus one per cent of the delegates' votes in order to enter the race with current chairman Isa Mustafa.

But now Osmani says he has not decided yet whether he will enter the race for the LDK leader, because he expects everything to be decided after elections are held in the underseas and branches, which could start as a process since early 2019.

The next “, whenever this process begins, I believe that I will have an answer to this job ... It's not the question of what a person has in mind, it's with much process of how much personal desire depends on the process, much of how the elections go. As you know, the LDK doesn't just have an election convention, but it all starts from underseas, let's see how it's going to the subside, then branches. It's a long process, I can start in early 2019, I can take two three months to see. If everything goes democraticly, I am convinced there will be good candidates. Who will be the candidates I believe will be informed when the” process begins, Osmani stressed.

She believes that in the domestic elections that will be held next year in LDK, there will be no generations of clashes as to who will take over the party, but the quality of the contribution everyone has made even if it entered the LDK a year ago will be seen.

I wouldn't say that, I think, despite our age, even some of us are long enough in LDK. I've been working actively at the party for 17 years now, it's not like I've entered the LDK, so even this difference of who's been here for me is something that shouldn't have happened. After all in 1989, I had seven years, of course I couldn't start political activity at age 7. So asking someone why he was an activist in 1990 or 1992 in LDK when he was a child is unacceptive. So instead of seeing the length of the contribution, I would say the quality of the contribution” should be looked at, Osman said.

She even says her associates with whom she has learned a lot are from those LDK founders.
