At the end of the act-expertosis regarding the fire on August 16th 2018, at 04:57, in the No.14 residence, at Lagen “Ali Demi”, Tirana, the Directorate General of Fire Protection wants to brief the following:

1. By observing the site of the event, the cause of the fire's fall has resulted from the regulator's breaking away from the gas tank and resulting from the leak of gas from the bombola, has exacerbated the internal gas environment, which in contact with the burning part of the cardboard boxes has caused the environmental explosion.
2. Fire Directorate experts note that fire has fallen between the gas tank and the cardboard boxes. Also, the act of expertise concludes that fire is caused by external factors.

From observing the site of the event, MZA experts have found that, in the environment where gas canisters were located, on the northeast side of the No.14 residence and with the wall sharing with the cooking kitchen, the window's right-hand glass had been broken. Under the window was a wooden ladder consisting of two palleta, which is used as a scaffold on the construction field.

In the interior of the environment, under the window and on the concrete counter, experts have found some partially burned cardboard boxes. Also, the act-expertosis finds that a gas bomb damaged in the upper part of the fire has been found, while the gas regulator was cut off along with the tank gas pipe.

Evidence and facts gathered by MZSH Directorate experts lead to the conclusion that fire at the No.14 residence has been deliberate and caused by external factors.

The action has been made available to the Prosecutor's Body of the Judicial Circle, Tirana, the continuation of the investigation and the complete dawning of this event.
