Mustafa: Thaci is dialogue head on, without platform

LDK Chairman Isa Mustafa says that in the current situation, Kosovo has a minority government and it is unacceptable for these institutions to decide on the country's most fundamental issues, so it should go to early elections. “The LDK has voted for president. Thaci, under the coalition agreement, has his party [...]
“The LDK has voted for president. Thaci, under the coalition agreement, has violated the agreement. The LDK does not give it another vote. In the next term, we will rule with partners with whom we can develop the economy, fight corruption and capture of the state, and write off progress in European and Euro-Atlantic integration”, Mustafa said.
With the Parliament resolution, Mustafa says the government is authorised for dialogue. The “is in charge of 2/3 of MPs deciding differently. As for the president, the Constitution defines his role and the LDK respects the Constitution. It has not been authorised by the Assembly for dialogue and has started head in itself to dialogue without a platform and frames defined by the Parliament”, Mustafa says.
He added that the move is unacceptable to the LDK. The LDK, he says, considers dialogue can only be led by institutions which will have the necessary parliamentary majority operating in groups of constitutional responsibilities and authorisations and confidence from the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.
The dialogue process can only be successful if a broad compatibility of relevant political subjects in Kosovo is achieved in advance, the active engagement of civil society, non-US communities, as well as experts and scientific institutions. In such circumstances, following civic legitimacy through free vote, the Democratic League of Kosovo is willing to take active responsibility in the dialogue process.
Mustafa tells Koha.net that this Government has consumed some of the effects of its government's fiscal policies, which promoted the private sector.
But with budget management without any initiative, it is creating huge gaps between the private sector and the public sector and competition in the market. The 53 million fine payment decision for the company Bechtel&Enka is completely wrong or motivated by other interests. Under no circumstances have we owed such means. It's the Government of impulsive decisions, unconventional in view of consequences, competencies and legal basis. Unfortunately for Kosovo, we are dealing with an authentic noncompetent conglomerate, which may be anything else but the Government”, LDK head Isa Mustafa said.
