Muarremaj: Drinking water in Suhareka, polluted, and bacteria

“After the request of the Health Directorate to the National Institute of Public Health, for testing drinking water in flood-affected areas, it has turned out that the water result for human use is contaminated and that bacteria”, Muharremaj wrote in his account at “Facebook”
He has also said he has sought out institutions to monitor in case of an epidemic and chlorine water in areas affected by floods.
I have again authorized our institutions to keep the level of surveillance, facing danger of any possible epidemic.
The recommendations are for the areas to be chlorified by the respective institutions, while one of the immediate bookings is for water to be spent before use.
We'll be at each step of surveillance to maintain the health of citizens”, Muharremaj wrote.
The town of Suhareka and the villages of this municipality were faced with tremendous flooding at night between August 15th and 16th.
