This thing is expected to be known within this week.
So said Deputy Minister of the MPB Izmi Zeka on Tuesday.
“Ende is not determined who will be the police director. This is expected to be known within this week”, Zeka told Express.
On the narrow list for appointment director of the Police are: 1. Rashit Qalaj, 2. Samedin Mehmeti and 3. Gazmend Hoxha. This ranking was the same from both the local rating commission and the British Embassy partner commission. Out of both commissions, Rashit Qalaj has emerged the most popular.
Kosovo police were left without a director after Shpend Maxun had left police to become director of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency.
