A 40-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the woman in her late 40s was stabbed in Buttersea, southwest of London.
Shocked neighbors say the victim's child had raised the alarm after discovering his mother with a stab wound.
The victim was declared dead at the scene after police officers and emergency aid arrived at home about 12:38.
She has two children, a six-year-old boy and a three-month-old. The oldest child is the one who found him and called the police”, said a neighbor quoted by “Sun”.
Armed police were seen breaking the door of the house in a wealthy London area known as “Nappy Valley”.
The victim has not been officially identified and relatives have not been notified.
A law post will be carried out at the right time.
Scotland Yard said: The police were summoned on Wednesday, August 15th at 12:38, with a report of stabning at an address in Grayshot Road”.
