Within a month, indictment for false veterans is expected

Over 22m euros are estimated to have damaged Kosovo's budget for false veterans during the January period of July of this year if more than 19 thousand false veterans are confirmed by the outgoing prosecutor Blakaj's claims that the veterans' lists are over 19 thousand.

MPs from the ranks of position and opposition demand that payment for false veterans cease, with cases they must return the money they have taken from the state over the years.

On the other hand, Special Prosecutor in Kosovo Sylla Hoxha, in a pronomination to the newspaper “Voice” has said no indictment has been submitted yet in the case of inflating veterans' lists to the tribunal. “In the meantime, the prosecutor will decide on proposals and then rule the Court.
