The ECS at the end of 2017 had proposed that the minimum wage be raised to 250 euros. Currently it is 130 euros for workers under the age of 35 and 170 for workers over this age, writes Koha Ditore.
The Economic-Social Council heads the Ministry of Labour and Social Management (MPMS), and the same task is to convey the Council's proposals for approval in Government.
In this ministry, they say the proposal for minimum wage growth to 250 euros has been submitted to Government, but that so far it has not been set in order for approval.
