In audio-incation published by online paper “Insander”, Krasniqi is heard telling Zeka how Limaj, while he was the minister of transportation in his office, had asked 3m euros in bribes to two German investors.
While Milaim Zeka, who is deputy in the Assembly of Fatmir Limaj's party, is warned to say on the phone that Limaj will be punished for corruption and that he received from the “people of Gjilan”.
Audio-incision protagonist Milaim Zeka tells KTV that he is the first to have spoken of this case on his show, but has not published Limaj's name, because he has not trusted his associate, Ilir Krasniqi.
Despite what he says in his conversation with Krasniqi, Zeka now claims he would not join the Social Democrat Initiative if there is evidence that Limaj has sought bribery.
He says he had reported Limaj on audio-instigation while he was a journalist, but asked KTV if he used this as a blackmail to become an MP, Zeka says no. The Zeka has added that she has met Limaj during the day and that she will continue to remain part of the Initiative. The publishing of the conversation, Zeka has called it a campaign of denigration to him, in which chief prosecutor Alexander Lumez is involved, of which he says there is evidence that he is involved in a murder case. Deputy Prime Minister Limaj has been calm during the day, neither on his phone nor has he shown willingness to talk about the issue, nor after contacting his advisers. Even Chief Prosecutor Alexander Lumez didn't open the phone.
