Today is marked by the International Day of Missing Persons August 30th.
Meanwhile, 19 years after the end of the war, family members require more than 1,688 people still found by the last war in Kosovo.
This day in Kosovo is marked with various activities, where family members ask to learn about the fate of those missing.
The Youth Human Rights Initiative at 12: 00 p.m. holds a march with the motto “March for those/o still missing! March for the truth! March for Justice!, which aims to raise awareness and at the same time social responsibility to seek truth and justice for more than 1,600 people still found in Kosovo, from all ethnic groups.
And this day will also be marked in a organisation under the auspices of Kosovo's prime minister, the government commission for missing persons in co-operation with the Co-ordination Council of Kosovo's Missing Family Associations and other local and international organisations, from 16:30 in Pristina, organise memorial gears and the establishment of flowers dedicated to missing persons, in front of the Kosovo Assembly.
Both activities are envisioned in “Zahir Pajaziti” Square.
