Commenting on statements by outgoing prosecutor Elez Blakaj, State Prosecutor Alexander Lumezi, has issued charges for the prosecutor, who published a long letter arguing his resignation with allegations of pressure.

Lumez has denied that Millaku's Blakaj had an agreement not to inform him of the course of the veterans' investigation after discussing Kadri Wessel's interview.

“Elezaj has come to me and has given me information about the veterans' case even after the meeting we had on the subject of Kadri Veselin”, Lumez said about KALLXO.com.

He has said he does not know what Elezaj's goal is, but there are many questions about his professionalism.

I don't know what Elez Blake's goal is. He's trying to be a hero prosecutor, but to this day no serious case in his career has raised him. We gave him a serious case, took 72 thousand euros in wages, and a good act didn't raise him. What kind of pro?

He has added that prosecutor Blakaj had filed an indictment against Shefqet Krasniqi, but that the indictment had failed in court. “Is this a success or failure?”, Lumez asked.

The chief prosecutor has called Elezaj's move a weakness.

The “is a weakness of a prosecutor who has left a subject in half and tarnished both the prosecutorial system and both the state prosecutor and the state of Kosovo. By the time EULEX is away, they tell me what prosecutor we have. Can prosecutors do a proper subject, is this prosecutor with a dignity of”, Lumez said.

In a conversation to KALLXO.com, Chief State Prosecutor Aleksander Lumezi has explained the meeting with prosecutor Blakaj, where the indictment for “Proto” was discussed. In the conversation Lumez has admitted to talking to Besim Beqaj about the indictment at a meeting he had with the latter.

“Tect Pronto part, he was one of the prosecutors I initiated with international partners and I formed a team of prosecutors for investigating this case, was: Dr. Hajdari, Elez Blakaj and Lulzim Sylejmani. As the indictment has risen I have summoned them to my office to explain to me what the evidence and facts that have supported the suspicion of standing up to the indictment. At this meeting, prosecutors spoke in a row, and when she came to Elez Blakaj, he said I didn't take any action or read the indictment, but I support Drita Hajdari as a whole”, Lumez said.

He added that there was a disagreement with the prosecutor because he had not read the indictment.

I told him, "How come you're not coming back with the saying that you support the light as a special prosecutor without seeing the evidence and without reading the indictment." This is your extreme ignorance. You should have told me that I didn't read the chief prosecutor and then gave me the opinion, not to say that because of my own non-employment and neglect at work, he now accuses the chief state prosecutor. Both Drita Hajdari and Prosecutor Lulzim Sulejmani were at the meeting, and Chief Prosecutor Resat Millaku”, Lumez said.

The chief state prosecutor has said the discussion on the indictment of “Proto” has been professional and without attempts to influence.

In his claim, prosecutor Blakaj wrote that angry Lumez sought accounts for the indictment of “Proto”. And even screaming for an accusation and asking for a return or revision of the indictment that was sent to the court!! At this same shameless meeting, he told us how he met with some of the people now accused (such as Besim Beqaj) and that the results of his work did not please him by ordering one of his office prosecutors, Mr. Lulzim Sylejmani T OMANT E A CHOOSE HOLY; some of us were refusing to review the decision made regarding the indictment that had been sent to the court! ” states in Blakaj's letter.

Lumez has admitted to meeting with Besim Beqaj and discussing the case “Proto”.

It is mentioned that Besim Beqaj wanted to meet me on this matter. He called me on the phone and we got the conversation and he said he was worried about this case, and I told him we'd look at him and we'd look at all the evidence, and if there's normal evidence, the indictment will rise, and if not... But all of this is important that the conversation between us is bon because there's been an accusation and it's gone to court”, Lumez said. He said Besim Beqaj met at a party.

He has been revolting with me and with the system that we're unfairly doing, and these are with the right intentions of accusing him because there's no evidence he has to help hire people in the case of Pronto-s” He has said that the meeting with the prosecutor was held four weeks after the indictment was filed.

I haven't agreed with the case of Pronto. I said there was only evidence for some of the accused, not for all the accused. The incident went well before the meeting took place, not before the actual” went ahead, Lumez said.

In a conversation about KALLXO.com, State Prosecutor Alexander Lumezi, has spoken of the meeting with Prosecutor Elez Blakaj, where he spoke of Kadri Weselin's call in the quality of the witness in the veterans' case.

Lumez has not denied the meeting but provided another version of what was the purpose of the meeting. The chief prosecutor who in the conversation says he was the initiator of the grand investigation of veterans, has stressed that his request has only been to clarify the situation.

For Kadri Wessel's case, I invited the prosecutor after I realized the prosecutor called him as a witness, Kadri Veseli and asked me to explain why he called him. The prosecutor's explanation has been that he has been talking about the quality of the witness regarding statements he has made in the Kosovo Parliament folk. I've told him that in the quality of the witness, no MPs can be called, not this or Lumir Abdixhik about what they've been talking about in Kosovo's Parliament folks because it's constitutional principle, because they have immunity for what they're talking about at”, Lumez said.

He added that Wessel was not a witness to the events, nor was he a suspect in this case.

“The last end of Kadria has not been a direct witness, has not been a commander of the area, nor has it been on the commission to provide benefits for war veterans. This guy was going to call him a big mind, so I called him, but as far as I know, he's never been interrogated.

He added that prosecutor Blakaj has not been prevented from calling Wessel in the interview, but even when he called him he asked him nothing.

Even when he called him he didn't question him. Neither Kadriun nor Lumir Abdixhik said anything about this matter. The Penal Code envisions who can be called a witness, only people who have knowledge of the event or are direct or indirect witnesses”, Lumez said of KALLXO.com.

He has said that in interviewing a witness cannot be talked about interference.

I, as chief prosecutor, used my powers regarding a witness, but if he were a suspect then we could say there was interference from the chief prosecutor, but the chief prosecutor is right to bring in mandatory instructions for concrete cases but I didn't bring in. I was the one who initiated the war veterans case”, Lumez said. He has clarified that the initiative to clarify Wessel's case has come from himself and not from someone within Kadri Wessel's cabinet.

I didn't have a complaint from Wessel, but I've heard from the chief prosecutor who called Kadri Veseli, and after he left the invitation I called him to explain why he called him and on what quality Kadri Veselin was calling him”, Lumez said.

In a letter made public through his account at Facebook~, outgoing prosecutor Elez Blakaj accused Chief of State Alexander Lumez of having called on him for an account, why among the witnesses in the veterans' case he had invited the head of the Parliament, Kadri Veselin.
