(8 years ago)The Committee for Citizen Freedoms, Justice, and Home Affairs LIBE, at the European Parliament, during yesterday has discussed visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens, while today the EP committee will vote on the issue. European Integration Minister Gift Hoxha is located in Brussels, where she met with European Parliament officials for visas during yesterday.
Hoxha has met Eurodeputen Tanja Fajon, as well as in separate meetings, has met Euro-Deputers Marie Christine Vergat, Angelika Mllinary and Eurodeputt Asim Ademiov, all members of the LIB Commission with whom support for visa liberalisation for Kosovars was confirmed.
In the latter part of July, Kosovo received positive recommendation from the European Commission on the free movement of citizens in the Schengen Zone, while this recommendation should receive green light from other EU instances as well.
