Hoxha: Liberalisation opens the door to the future of young people

European Integration Minister Done Hoxha, on the occasion of World Youth Day note, in the presence of student youth leaders, youth NGOs, the youth of political parties, as well as national youth co-ordinator Avdullah Hasani, pointed out that it is a good opportunity for all to gather together [...]

Today's “, when we have rapid changes in the world, technology development and when in recent years social media have caused major social and political changes, youth strength is more important than ever before”, Minister Hoxha stressed, and added that every day we should try to see the world through the eyes of young people, this is the best way to help young people and enable them to be more active in society.

As you know, the minister mentioned, Kosovo has received positive recommendation for meeting the criteria required for visa liberalisation. Visa liberalisation is important for all citizens of the country, but mostly for our young people, it will be a more opportunity for our young people and will open the doors of the future.

“We have talented and successful youth and there is no need to migrate illegally to EU countries because it has the potential to be partners with young people of other countries”, Minister Hoxha noted, and added that it is the last time for the greatest youth participation in public life in the new Decade.

Currently, youth unemployment and lack of free movement are the main challenges for our young people, Minister Hoxha stressed, the Government is committed to addressing the challenges our youth faces today, saying that we should focus on education reforms, our young people have the opportunity to be competitive for the labour market in the country and abroad.

On the world youth day, Minister Hoxha called for the establishment of new partnerships and the unification of efforts in eliminating all the obstacles young people face, making them less sensitive to any kind of exclusion, so that we can all see the world through their eyes.

Last night, Minister Hoxha along with Mr. Hasan, wash the message for this day on the Led screen, “Rini, congratulations your Day!”
