Hoxha in Brussels: Waiting for Positive Visa Decision

European Integration Minister (MIE), Gift Hoxha, is standing in Brussels, where it is expected to be voted on the issue of visa liberalisation for Kosovo.

She has announced that during her stay today, when the discussion on the issue of visa liberalisation for Kosovo on the part of representatives of the LIBE committee in the European Parliament has met several EP officials, including Euro-deputen Tanja Fajon.

“During my stay in Brussels, where the LIBE Commission meeting is being held and tomorrow will be voted for visa liberalisation for Kosovo, I held several meetings. With pleasure I met the eurodeput from Slovenia, Tanja Fajon, rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament. I noted that we have met all conditions for liberalisation from the guide. Our expectations are positive decisions on visa liberalisation, the LIBE Commission vote for liberalisation”, Hoxha has said.

“Zj. Fajon, for years he was a loyal supporter of Kosovo's achievements and interests, even now, welcoming her contribution as Rapporteur to the European Parliament, reconfirming our achievements for visa liberalisation, integration process and lobbiing for the recognition of state and citizenship of our international organisations. Kosovo and its citizens are ready for liberalisation”, she has added.

Hoxha says she also met at separate meetings, I met Euro-Deputates Marie Christine Vergat, Angelika Mllinary and Eurodeputt Asim Ademiov, all members of the Law Commission with whom support for Kosovo visa liberalisation was reconfirmed.
