The head of the LDK Parliamentary Group, Avdullah Hoti, has said that before normalising relations with Serbia is achieved, there must be functional democratic institutions in the Assembly.
According to Hoti, disagreements in the political spectrum have deepened following President Hashim Thaci's statements regarding the correction of borders with the Serbian state.
“They cannot be overcome with this lack of correct access to communications”, says Hoti.
Before we normalise the reports with Serbia, which is our intended and coordinated definition of the international community, we must first have normal democratic institutions of a solid and functional majority in the Assembly. Without overcoming this failure, which is producing defects in policymaking, we will only sink even more into abnormal judicial and political state”, Hoti wrote.
The political agreement should still be reached within the institutions, but only when they are clothed with democratic legitimacy and have the support of Kosovo citizens expressed by free vote”, he takes it away.
