Thaci announced that with assistant- Secretary Mitchell has thanked the US for its clear stance on reaching an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia under the last phase of dialogue.
We agreed to intensify efforts to reach an agreement that would once and for all close the hostilities between Kosovo and Serbia. An agreement that paves the way for mutual recognition and Kosovo's clear perspective of membership in NATO, the EU, the UN and other international organisations. Assistant Secretary Mitchell pledged that Kosovo would have US steadfast support in this process”, the president's announcement reported, writes Periscope.
Thaci, in the end, said the involvement of the US and other strategic partners in Kosovo in the latest phase of dialogue, facilitated by the EU, is a guarantee of full success and reaching a historic agreement.
