Vetevendosje Movement leader Albin Kurti has declared that it did not cause deals to be carried out on border correction between Kosovo and Serbia, as it does not have to be given Kosovo's north for the Presevo Valley.
He has said Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja should be supported without saving.
“We have said our position even in the Parliament, even in the statements and attitudes of movement -- the Albanians of Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc -- have said their word in the 1992 referendum. The state of Kosovo and the government should consider this referendum, but in governance love is measured by budget. Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc are with the Albanian autokton population and we have to support them generously in order to implement the 1992 referendum”, Kurti said.
Kurti has said that President Thaci's statements of border correction are within the logic of demarcation.
“Border correction is a minority issue, not solved the problem of eastern Kosovo with the logic of demarcation. The president is giving the north more while not taking the valley, this is very harmful “, Kurti said.
He added that according to information in Bujanoc, the presence of Serbian gendarmerie in Presevo has increased.
Kurti made these comments at the opening of the ceremony of the fellow countrymen' reception at the seat of the Vetevendosje Movement.
