After the first meeting, which lasted about an hour, Prime Minister Haradinaj has said they have been talking about the principles of dialogue and that, according to him, the president has expressed his position that he will not discuss Kosovo's borders and territory.
The important thing is that the president clearly indicated there would be no division of Kosovo. It respects territory and integrity, so it respects and works on the basis of the Constitution, so it is not discussed and refuses to discuss the division of the country”, Haradinaj declared after the meeting. “What's important is to clarify the institutional goal, so that territory and borders are not discussed in any” dialogue.
Meanwhile, President Thaci, speaking of meetings, has said they have agreed indiscriminately to continue dialogue, and to have it participate in the September 7th meeting. But, unlike what Haradinaj has said, he has again insisted on the idea of changing borders.
