Kosovo Assembly Deputy Chairman Xhavit Haliti has suggested that the issue of the number of KLA veterans cannot solve justice organs.

He has said that in order to solve this problem, one must be seen to find a path outside the justice organs.

In this interview given to the newspaper “The new era”, Haliti, who is one of the founders of the KLA, has shown that zone commanders and brigades have data on the number of freedom fighters.

I never had any evidence of the number of warriors, because I never had this assignment. That's why I can't say if it was 60 thousand veterans, 10,000, 12,000, or 20 grand, as it is spoken of. Figures are different, but I don't think anybody's shooting. What's disturbing, and that international mechanisms like the IMF and the Ministry of Finance have also raised this policy trend in Kosovo, so that all of them become veterans of education, war veterans, veterans of this or her issues, and that all will be paid off, bankrupt the state. Kosovo does not have the US or Germany budget. This is a problem Kosovo will face and the state budget will contract and there will be a state functioning problem”, Haliti has said.
