A Greek military plane crashed on Tuesday in the area between Tripoli and Sparta in Peloponnese.
The plane was on a training mission at the time it crashed around 8:50. After the plane exploded, the copilot was found alive while being sought to find its leader.
The plane was “type T-2 Bouckeye”, one of the oldest Greek Air Force officers on whom two trainers were performing a training flight.
Both are said to have abandoned the plane before the crash.
Co-pilot has been identified and in good health, at the Kalamat Hospital, as research continues to track down the commander in the role of the chief pilot.
