Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has reacted today to German Chancellor Angela Merkel's statement, which has rejected the idea of changing Serbia's borders with Kosovo.Vuciq has stressed that Merkel's stance on Kosovo now and five years is unchanged and that she has made Serbia's restrictions by recognising independent Kosovo.
“What Angela Merkel said, if I dare translate for our citizens, when she stressed that it is against changing borders, it has made our borders separate from Serbia, so that all of Kosovo is independent”, the news agency beta quoted Vuciq as saying.
He has added that for nothing he is not guilty and that every time after meeting with the German Chancellor has stressed they have different views on the Kosovo issue.
Vuciqi has added that not only for Merkel, but for the entire Western world, Kosovo is independent, sovereign and inseparable territory that belongs only to Albanians in Pristina and that it has no ties with Serbia.
He has said to be disappointed with the response of some part of the opinion because he has tried to make Serbia's citizens gain more in terms of the Kosovo issue.
“Since Angela Merkel has said that the borders are over, we've got this answer for the same time, and what I do, how to act against Merkel, Rada Trajkoviq, Sava Jovanovici, Dragan Gjillas, Vuka Jeremiqi”, has finally complained.
