Germany supports Belgrade and Pristina's readiness for continued dialogue and normalisation of relations between them. So said the deputy leader of the ruling faction CDU/ CSU in the German Bundestag, Johann Wadeful, after meeting with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq.

While Vadeful has reiterated the German position about changing the borders between Serbia and Kosovo, for their failure to change, Vuciq has mentioned Serbia's orientation that for the sake of the peaceful future of the country and the entire region work on reaching compromise resolution with Kosovo, which, as he was quoted as saying, would protect the interests of our state and national interests.

Vuciq has indicated that few in the world know for sure what the borders of Serbia are and who the Kosovo people are, therefore considers that the agreement of Serbs with Albanians is of crucial importance to both peoples.

Earlier, Periscopi broadcast the news that German Chancellor Angela Merkel had confirmed that she spoke about Kosovo with US President Donald Trump. /Periscopi
