The EU office, in a response to KTV, has said concerns have to do in particular about the wage bill.
The EU, through the Law on Salat, requires that the principle of equal pay be respected for the same work, defining the wage and wages system in a more transparent manner.
The “Draft law is very ambitious in its scope and will have many budgetary implications. In this regard it is important to become an impact and adequate fiscal assessment and to remain Kosovo's fiscal sustainability, a concern we share with the interest parties and international partners”, the EU Office's response to Kosovo says.
