Commission spokeswoman Maja Kocijanciq has said the European Union as a mediator of dialogue cannot comment on the possible elements of the agreement, but will continue intensively working with the two sides for agreement to be sustained by the entire international community.
“A sustainable solution is a successful, meaningful and real solution in accordance with international laws”, Kocijanciq has said.
As for possible changes of borders, exchange of territories and technically clean territories, Kocijancic has said they do not want to enter speculation and details during the latest phase of dialogue.
We need to give them space to agree on the contents of the final agreement. As mediator, we cannot get into comments about possible elements, but we will work with both sides intensively”.
