Milorad Dodik, president of Republika Srpska, says Serbs must set their national priorities. He says they should have it clear what they ultimately want from Kosovo. Chancellor Merkel's statement of changing borders in the Balkans also posts Periscope.
Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik believes the time has come for Serbs to come up with a clean political, national and defence programme.
This should be our focus for this century, since the past was a disaster for Serbs, says Dodik, broadcasts Periscopi.
“International circumstances have changed”, Dodik says in an interview for Tanjug.
He has said he does not believe that he has changed the American position or any other international position, despite having some good changes, but, as Dodik says, the Dayton Agreement has been in place even after 20 years since it was signed has failed to be respected. It says that the rights of Serbs in Bosnia are not respected.
“and then return to Serbia's state interests, we are constantly concerned about the solution, or Kosovo or Republika Srpska, or this or that, we should have a clear sign”, says Dodik broadcasts Periscopi.
“Why demarcation? Because all people around Serbia and Serbs have gained their freedom throughout history, trying to exclusively show a performance of a constructive state in front of anti-Serb states and their policies. From Croatia too, here, Bosniaks in Bosnia, Albanians in Albania, even Montenegrins in Montenegro, even Macedonians, deny the rights of the existence of our churches and even more, he has said.
So we must affirm our interests. So, Republika Srpska, Serbia and our four municipalities in Kosovo as well as the issues in Montenegro”, he says.
Asked how Chancellor Angela Merkel's position regarding changing the borders in the Balkans, Dodik has said he should first be cited as being the champion of changes in borders”./Periscopi/
