The Council for Consumer Protection has demanded that the Energy Regulatory Office withdraw the decision on August 20th for loading consumer bills by 1.9 per cent to cover KED losses. Otherwise, he warns that he may sue him and other relevant organs.

Council Chief Sheriff Fejzullahu said the ZRE is using double standards for covering KED losses, which total up to 4.5m euros.

He has also asked the Kosovo Government and the mayors to protect citizens and consumer rights. He also ordered customers to be alert.

Selatin Kachanic, a member of the Council for Consumer Protection, has also called the decision to cover KEDS losses, reports T7.

According to the latter, the prosecution after this public response would have to react according to procedures.

The ZERB has made the decision that Kosovo citizens are charged with bills of 1.9 per cent to cover KED losses, which amount to more than 4m euros.
