According to Colak, both sides have come a long way and this trip has not been easy for any of the parties involved, the KP follows.
As with many interstate dialogues, it very often feels as if our steps ahead were followed by steps back. The European Union's recent vows to our region, from Jean-Claude Juncker's statement from 2017 to the Western Balkans Summit in London only last month, have kept our potential success -- Kosovo and Serbia -- at the spotlight, and through its liberation of our ambitions and the future of our peoples. And now that we are reaching the final obstacles to this dialogue, it is vital that we all keep our efforts focused, because it is clear that this current situation does not serve anyone's interests, not the citizens of Kosovo or of Serbia, and indeed our most extensive allies in the European Union”, has stressed Thaci's chief of staff.
