China has stated it will file a new complaint against President Donald Trump's tariffs in the World Trade Organisation (OBT).
The threat comes after the United States imposed a second round of tariffs for $16 billion in Chinese goods, in an escalation of their trade war.
The 25% tax went into effect during midnight in Beijing, affecting the engine and antenna sector.
As a result of these tariffs, concerns have increased that the same could harm companies and consumers.
The Chinese Trade Ministry has warned of “counterattack”, after Washington has applied new tariffs, saying that “clearly suspects” that the US is violating World Organisation rules.
This country has started its first complaint to this body in July.
On Thursday, China has imposed taxes on revenge at the value of $16 billion for American goods, the same time they started implementing US measures.
Chinese tariffs affect coal, medical equipment, cars and buses coming from the U.S.
The reciprocal measures have occurred at a time when officials of the two states are holding low-negotiation levels in Washington.
But both sides hope for a turning point in the trade conflict that started in July.
