According to a new report at the Pentagon, this is being done to train its pilots for missions targeting the United States, writes CNN, Klan Kosova reports.
The Annual Report on Military and Security Developments involving the People's Republic of China” is an American government report mandated by Congress detailing Chinese military developments over the past year.
This year's report also states that China is pursuing a nuclear capability against its long-range attackers, saying the Chinese air force “is re-appointed on a nuclear mission”.
“The deployment and integration of capable nuclear bombers would offer China for the first time with a nuclear triple of distribution systems scattered across land, sea, and air”, the report said.
The United States issued a new defence strategy at the beginning of 2018, where they declared the long-term strategic subx0 dams with China” as one of the biggest challenges of the American Army.
According to Thursday's report, China is working for a long-range strategic “bombloader with a nuclear capacity that can operate within the next 10 years”, except for the attackers already operating.
In a show of the expansion of Beijing power, the Chinese army landed H-6K nuclear bombers on one of their artificial islands in the South China Sea for the first time in May.
