Guardia di Finanza has published tragic images of security cameras in which the moments of the Morandi bridge crash appear. Meanwhile, authorities have closed the surrounding area for fear of another collapse.
Film footage was distributed Monday by Guardia di Finanza.
The video first watches as a large concrete mass falls. It also notes in part the emission of the ecological island under the bridge of the recycling plant, which is barely affected by the collapse. Already the entire area around the bridge has been sealed in a security perimeter, for there is fear of further collapses of concrete parts.
Meanwhile, debate follows in Italy over the passage of the company “Auttostrada for Italy” under state management.
Interior Minister Matteo Salvini and some government members have voiced favour with this proposal. But there are those who think it would deepen and further crisis in infrastructure.
The Morandi Bridge, built over 50 years ago, collapsed last Tuesday on August 14th and claimed 43 people, between them and two Albanians
